mail2web-specific question

i sync with my exchange server at work and i'd like to have a backup in case i move employers -- would i be able to sync with mail2web for backup and then switch back to my work server without any problems?

Yes mail2web will work exactly like your current exchange server I use it just for contacts and calendar for a back up just incase my computer goes down

Correct it will just show up as another to sync with in your active sync on your phone

yea just be careful with how you set it up the syncing on the device and on the server don't wanna be in a situation where you end up with double contacts and appointments in your phone or on your work or mail2web account

I've successfully don't what you're talking about without any problems or duplicate contacts/appointments. Just make sure you do a backup before you change anything, just in case.

now that i'm thinkin about it you could look into dashwire too i dunno if they have setup the option to restore but the give you the option to back up your calls text messages and contacts
