I need help with aebplus
I was inspired by the 'remapping hardware buttons' thread here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=41598 to download AEB+.
Is there any kind of manual or 'how to' at all for this? I thought I'd just start by using the suggestions in that post, but I can't even figure out how to do the first thing - remap the volume buttons to do up/down scrolling. |

A new screen should pop up....... 1. Select handle by Aeplus 2. select single press, 3. select volume up... ( this will tell aeplus, when you press up on the volume key, the volume would increase, like normal.) Then go back to the 2nd option... then select double press, then change the third box to what ever you want... if you are selecting run application. Another box appears, select the application and run it... save... and i think they want you to reset.... This should get the ball rolling for you.. hope it helps.. |

I hated the way the TouchPro volume control buttons worked. I was constantly messing up trying to slide the phone out of a tight leather vertical belt case without touching the volume buttons (almost impossible). That problem was solved immediately with AE however, I set the volume buttons to "do nothing" with a single press & work as volume with a double press........... ~John |
