Re: Incoming caller's carrier ID?
I havent find any software of doing that, i was searching for the samething, i found something that you might want to try it is not that hard, of course i have an unlimited plan now but use to work for me, only thing is if you are not sure who is calling you have to ignore the call, type http://411.com/ in your internet browser, that will take you directly to a the 411 mobile menu, click on "reverse phone", copy and paste the incoming number in the "phone number" field, click on search and you will get the carrier name and other info, hope that helps.

Yeah, at first I didn't put the area code because it said not to. I tried it both ways and get the same result. No biggie, I'll try later. Thanks.

Re: Incoming caller's carrier ID?
Try www.fonefinder.net. You enter the area code and prefix. The return will tell you if the number is a hardline or cell, who the carrier is, and in which city the switch is located. However, it won't tell you if a number has been ported. For example, when I check my Treo's #, it shows up as "Sprint-Spectrum" (who around here remembers when that was Sprint's name?) My number belongs to VZW.
