Good Apps for a Road Trip?

Hey All,

I was hoping someone could suggest some good apps for a road trip... i'm sure theres a wide range of stuff here, but I was hoping for some stuff to help me find things to do, places to eat all, and ways to stay not bored.

Heres some stuff I already have

Garmin
MobileXM
Pandora
locr (for GPS photo tags)
and MobiTV

any other ideas?

Any help is greatly appreciated

I like TomTom for GPS navigation myself. You already have Pandora and I was going to suggest that too.

Trapster. That way you can be alerted when police set up a trap to ticket you for speeding.

Don't leave home without it. It's freeware by the way.

I suggest Coreplayer and some sitcom shows to kill time if you happen to hit an area with no internet coverage. And Mobipocket for books and magazines.

Re: Good Apps for a Road Trip?

Definitely Google Maps, you can use GPS to find your current location and find direcctions, search for places like gas stations, atms, hotels, restaurants, all you can imaging,it also tell you the address to the place and the phone number in case you have to call and you dont even have to dial digit by digit, also shows traffic, and satelite view and much, much more is a really cool free app..
