Slingbox Classic vs Solo quality on mobile

I'm curious if anyone has run the classic Slingbox and moved onto a newer model specifically with an HD source if the quality was any better on your mobile device?

I have a Touch Pro and a Slingbox classic now and am looking at the Solo as my HD DVR is hooked to it now. I know it would be on my laptop but am looking for mobile opinions please.

Thanks.

Re: Slingbox Classic vs Solo quality on mobile

According to the reviews, a SOLO should look slightly better due to the true component in vs that of just regular yellow composite. As small as the TP screen is, I dont think it would matter too much. The software can only stream 320x240 to Windows Mobile machines right now, which is strange that they wont add 640x480. Personally I have an AV and Im not going to upgrade to a SOLO or Pro until Sling releases a client that can do 640x480 remotely (on a WM machine). I dont think a classic will do 640x480 so if you want to stream around the house like that (or remotely via a PC) it may be worth it

Re: Slingbox Classic vs Solo quality on mobile

For watching on the touch pro, I see no difference between my classic and the SOLO I got my mom for christmas. On my laptop though, that's another story. Colors and picture quality are much improved.
