Yeah, for that ONE feature, otherwise you can text yourself and get coordinates or a google maps link. The guy is offering to show you on his site where your phone is, he has server costs. A $5 donation to use it indefinitely, in the end, is not that much. Not to mention that he's also not requiring you use that feature and only that feature, the rest require no fee.

The Sprint App is the easiest to use.... honestly///but free is FREE

Google Remote tracker, That's the best program I've used to date. I actually use it on an extra vogue as a GPS tracker for my motorcycle. I've had my bike get stolen before. This program got my bike back within an hour.
