With your help Im rockin my fav MP3 segments as ringtones. for those needing help jus download it on ur computer then rename the file to wutever u want. then jus delete the "zip" portion. then transfer the file to ur phone. i put it in my storage card. then after i went to the phones storage card and installed it from there with no problems. thanks again!

Re: Original HTC MP3 Trimmer for Touch Pro

I've downloaded this to my touch pro and am able to trim a song, put it into my ringtones folder, but the tune wont play. In fact, if I go to the "sounds & notifications" settings on the phone none of the tunes play. Anyone know why?

Do you get any other sounds or notifications to play? What ROM are you running? Have you soft reset it since the problem?

The only sounds or notifications that play are the ones that came with the phone/ROM (Star Rom 2.0) and I did a soft reset.
When I go to settings > sounds and notifications, the ring tones I made are there but I can't seem to select them. When I do and try to click "OK" to exit, the phone won't keep that ring tone, it just selects another...any clues?

What format are the trimmed files that you are using? I know all the ringtones on my phone are WMA format, but not sure if that affects their ability to be used as a ringtone (I wouldn't think so, but I've been wrong before )

They are in MP3 format. I think I had files in WMA format and they could not be seen in the "my ring tones folder." I'm using Spb mobile shell, and there i can select my RT and hear it, it just can't be heard in the "Sounds & notifications" settings in the phone.

Well, that about exhausts my suggestions then, never used SPB MS, so not familiar with it and it's quirks. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

No problem, but I don't think its a mobile shell issue. I can't select a downloaded or created ring tone in the phone's settings
