When I go to settings > sounds and notifications, the ring tones I made are there but I can't seem to select them. When I do and try to click "OK" to exit, the phone won't keep that ring tone, it just selects another...any clues?

What format are the trimmed files that you are using? I know all the ringtones on my phone are WMA format, but not sure if that affects their ability to be used as a ringtone (I wouldn't think so, but I've been wrong before
)
