Re: Covenant Eyes Mobile

Awesome. I have been waiting for CE to get this going for a long time! So far it appears to be working well, although I am still waiting to see that the data is being captured on my online reports (and not just on my HTC Touch Pro).

Only "bug" I have encountered so far is that if CE gets closed for some reason (like when I accidentally tapped on the "X" to exit the URL log), I could not restart CE and had to do a soft reset.

Re: Covenant Eyes Mobile

Yeah, the issues that I had when I had the mogul was that it ate up the last few megabytes of program memory that I had so it often forced me to soft reset.

Now that I have the Pro memory isn't a problem. But I have the program set to auto login and it doesn't log me in automatically (at least it doesn't say I'm logged in.) The program is supposed to prevent you from being able to access the internet if you're not logged in but for some reason this feature doesn't work on the pro like it worked on the mogul. Although, if I open covenant eyes and log in manually all of my previous internet activity from the day comes up.

Re: Covenant Eyes Mobile

I'm guessing that you are using the "TouchFlo" interface? I'm not sure how you can tell if CE is running or not, unless you check using the Task Manager or some similar method. Sounds like it must be running in the background if it's logging your activity?

I'm not sure how long it's supposed to take for my activity to make it from my phone to my online CE reports... but it's been about an hour and I'm still seeing nothing reported in the member center. Any idea what the lag time is supposed to be?

Re: Covenant Eyes Mobile

Yeah, I'm running TouchFlo as well. I use o2 so I can see the running programs and CE is running in the background. If I open the program though it says that I'm logged out for some reason. It could be that i am actually logged in but it just doesn't say it.

I'm not exactly sure what the lag time is on CE reporting but I know that it takes a while for mine to process (normally a few hours.)

Re: Covenant Eyes Mobile

After about 12 hours I have to say that I am very impressed with the CE Mobile beta. The activity from my phone has been flowing right into my accountibility reports, and I have not noticed any negative impact on my phone's performance (probably doesn't hurt that the Touch Pro is the latest and greatest). And my phone is continuously syncing an Exchange 2007 server account, an IMAP email account, 6 cities worth of extended weather forecasts, 30+ RSS feeds, etc. And to test it out I have been watching youtube videos, playing around on Facebook, using the new Google Maps app w/Street View, etc.

I have no real complaints... CE has done a really great job here! Hopefully they can wrap this beta up and move on to helping iPhone and Blackberry users!

Re: Covenant Eyes Mobile

Wow, very interesting app. I don't think I've seen anything quite like this before.
Good job.
