Use Cell Phone as modem...

I have downloaded and installed WMRouter and I connect my phone via USB is there some other software that I need to put on my laptop to get it to work or what should I do?

I have Sprint so I'll tell you about Sprint. Go to Sprint's webpage, log in, and download Sprint SmartView to your desktop. After installing to your computer, you open and run SmartView, connect your phone via USB, and Walla, you are connected to the internet via phone! Hope this helps.

unless things changed for the touch pro, you have to have a connection card for smartview????

I have never seen it but i have heard that they can cut your service if you use your device as a router. i think it was at hofo that someone had posted this after they got cancelled for a violation of the ToS if you have USCC

Did you install the ICS cab??

That's what I had to do to get my TP to work with WMwifirouter. I have a sprint TP activated on verizon service.
