Re: Google Maps with Street View available for Windows Mobile

How do you use the street view? I don't see an option to use it anywhere nor do i see it when i do a search like in the video on their site.

The street view should be available when you search for a specific route or location. Click on a turn or location that results from a search to see if it gives you the option for street view.

The street view option will come up regardless if it is available or not, but you won't know if it is available until you click on the street view option. At this point it will either go there or tell you that it's not available. In my case, I can look at my house from just about any angle!

That is both cool and creepy. I searched my godparent's address and when it loaded in streetview, there's a view w/my godparents' garage up showing the car (license plate in view) and my godfather pushing his mower. Google really should airbrush these kinds of things out. I did find that a lot of the views are old, as routes that I took that once upon a time were under construction have long been finished for over a year, but Street View shows unfinished roads. But, this is definitely progress.
