.netcf & .xml

is netCF and xml part of the ROM??
if so, when u cook a ROM, are u adding pre-written code to netCF??? is doing THAT customizing a ROM??
what about .xml?? can u write that kinda code??? or is it pre-coded like netcf???

I don't mean to jack your conversation. I have seen cabs on various sites for a net 3.5 cab. I have an ATT Tilt, would upgrade my .net?

but im interested on learning what these components do, their responsiblities, and how to customize a ppc in the long run.....a guy earlier mentioned that it deals with software...but if u kno or wud wanna kno more, hopefully in short time, sum peepl with backgrounds with this wudnt mind helping us learn more

Amen, brother. Lately, I' ve downloaded a bunch of apps that they don't work on my Tilt , so I'm thinking this might have something to do with it. I tried XDA, but you know how it goes you search over there yada yada yada yada four hours later, six threads, 1800 posts later. I was reading some crap in the Flame forum!
