How to get transparent clocks!
I recently got my Diamond and was reading all the great icon, sliders and clocks there are out there. Being new to the Diamond it took me a bit to firgure out how to do the themes. Onces I was able to do it I was still having problems with the transparent clocks. I saw that I was not the only one. I read how others said to fix the problem but since I was new to this it didn't make sense. Since then I have figured it out. So I am putting it in this thread incase there are others like myself who need the help.
You need the total comander. You can find it here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/arch.../t-421605.html Using total comander you install the Semi tranparent clock file or the No Background file, depending how transparent you want in to be, in the windows folder. You can backup the orginal files with the total comander if you like. Then you can install the clock you like and it should work. Now I have only done this on the Diamond so I am not sure how it works on other phones. I hope this helps the ones who were lost like myself. Susanna |
