Is there a way to AUTOMATE PINGing?

I need my connection to stay always on, and NOT drop due to needing fast SMS notifications, job related. I have a ping utility that I can run and it keeps my connection active and I can get SMS messages within 3 seconds of sending them from online whereas without doing this it would take a min of 7 seconds. I would like to set up my phone so that I can just click on a file, maybe like a BAT file that will run the PING command.. but currently all I have is a GUI program that I have to click here and there a few times in order to get it running. So.... any ideas?
