Re: Gscroll For Diamond and Touch pro

5 bucks is definitely worth it for this app.

My first impressions: At first I thought it would be a nuisance slightly, because I thought you had to actually press the buttons twice to launch an app. Instead, all it takes is a light double tap on the icon on your dpad to launch the app you specified. Currently I'm using a wifi toggle, task facade, file explorer, and the search function.

A word about the "set" buttons in the app list. They bring you to a window which I assume is searching for options for you, but all that was brought up for me was search.lnk located in a windows folder.

To set the app, you must manually enter the address, and there is no copy or paste via the menu you get normally when you tap and hold.

Scrolling: "Smart scroll and direction" works great. No longer do I have to worry about accidentally hitting one of my buttons just from trying to navigate. It definitely works just as your dpad does. However, I've tried using it on the following games WITHOUT success: Super G-Stunt, Volley Balley, PBA Bowling. I guess it doesn't work with games, but I don't have many to begin with so further testing is definitely needed here.

I'd like to add the app launcher works even while my phone is locked with pocket shield. Pocket shield stays on top, but you can feel the phone vibrate and when you unlock it, you can see that all the apps have been launched. This might be an issue when sitting in my pocket and the phone accidentally turns on (which is why i have pocket shield in the first place.)

Worth 5 bucks, but needs some work. Hopefully my purchase includes any updates that come out.

Re: Gscroll For Diamond and Touch pro

On another thread people are saying they are seeing a larger list of apps when they hit the set button, so it could be a device specific issue I'm having with that. I had installed the cab mixxy posted, so perhaps that's my issue. I uninstalled it and went back to the site and downloaded what they told me to download. I'll report back.

Re: Gscroll For Diamond and Touch pro

Well after reinstalling it's doing the same exact thing. So for some, setting the programs is simple, but for ME (lol) it's kind of annoying, but doable nevertheless.

Now I'm wondering; If something like this isn't working the same for me as it is everyone else, perhaps this program works in games for other people...
