It took me a few times to get a good clear pic but I finally got it to work!!

on yeah this works on my omnia with the default camera settins held about 3 inch away no flash.

Have not been able to get this to work on my Samsung Omnia (i910 - from Verizon). The app installs just fine, but it hasn't recognized any barcodes yet. I'm attaching two photos, one of the back of the OReilly Learning Perl book, one of the back of my lunch :)

Can anyone tell me if my quality is up to snuff, so I can eliminate that as the problem?

the firs photo, 143..., needs the camera held closer so that only the bars are shown. Turn camera landscape. And the second photo is not, I don't believe, a UPC code which has five and five numbers. I hope I am not misspeaking on this.
