Thats because you moved the barcorama to your programs directory.....i just tested it out. What i would suggest create a file under your \storage card\program files\barcorama. The program is looking for the application and it saves the images in the same directory the application is listed so by doing so it wil now save the images in that directory. Hope this helps.

"edit"

You can also make a link of Barcorama to the programs folder

As far as I know, all the zip code really does is allow the search to calculate shipping and include it in the results.

Re: Barcode Scanner in here (Like the G1) [APP]

[Edit: cab version now available] . After you run the program for the first time edit your settings.txt file to reflect these changes:

Code:
RUN=\windows\OperaL.exe
RUNARGS=http://google.com/products?addr=[your_zip_code_here]&q=!###!&scoring=p
Replace the "[your_zip_code_here]" with your actual zip code. These changes will point the program to a google products page (with shipping costs to your zip code) in Opera

Sorry for the trouble, but for a newbie could you be more specific on how I get to this code to make the change in location? I am thinking this is a registry change? So I need a registry editor and then what? Thanks.

look in the installed area, you'll see a txt file in there and that's where you make the changes.

its in device\program files\barcorama\settings.txt

Re: Barcode Scanner in here (Like the G1) [APP]

Posted this over at xda first but wanted to share it here too...

Just wanted to say that this is a great program! If you guys are interested i have made a custom page that directs me to some of my favorite barcode checking websites.

Sites currently used are:

Froogle - Lowest Price First.
FastPriceCheck
Amazon
PriceGrabber
Google
UPC Database
SNX
CheckUPC

View a demo at http://barcode.weblocalhost.com/mobile.php

To use it with Barcorama edit the following line in your settings.txt
RUNARGS=http://barcode.weblocalhost.com/mobile.php?q=!###!

I'm also attaching a settings.txt that you can just drop in your Barcorama directory.

Let me know what you guys think.
Attached Files
File Type: txt settings.txt (247 Bytes, 130 views) Click for barcode!

Re: Barcode Scanner in here (Like the G1) [APP]

Great web page. One issue I found though. On my TP, the pricegrabber link doesn't work properly in Opera. It takes you to the site, but does not execute a search for the bar code. All the other links work like a treat.

nice work!

Re: Barcode Scanner in here (Like the G1) [APP]

I'm just guessing here, but it must be because my HTC Touch (Sprint) Vogue, probably does not have a good enough camera to be able to use this program.

I've taken a couple of shots and both have returned a "no barcode" message. The pic looks kind of fuzzy to me.

Anyone else out there with a Touch coming up with different results?
