Export GPS data to XML

I'm in the process of scouring the forums and Google trying to find a program (preferably free, I'm cheap) that can take GPS data, dump it to XML format and maybe even do a FTP upload to a site for me to integrate into the Google Maps API.

If there's already been a topic on this, apologies in advance.
