on PPC6700 - TOMTOM for the streets... GPS Tuner for the woods (and line plotting on the ocean or lake)
...but you it's tough to beat Microsoft Streets & Trips (as a laptop solution). Not really a fair comparison as mobility can be as much a factor as functionality. Microsoft Streets (as a ppc software) doesn't work with a gps device, or didn't when I used it a couple years ago...so it's obsolete to me. My vote is absolutely for TOMTOM, because the issues previously mentioned aren't really issues for me.
