Few questions/requests from a PPC n00b.

So I have my Touch Pro and am really used to it now. Now I'm trying to get some third party software on it, and really start enjoying it.

So far, I get the CAB files, you just Sync with your device, then open the file on the device and it installs, but how do you install a program when given a zip file, or multiple zip files for it?

And out of curiosity is there any apps that allow the phone to function as a TV Remote/Mouse? And is there a simple dictionary app. somewhere on the internet, since I'd love to be able to just use that as I read a book.

Usually a zip file will contain either a .cab or an .exe. Just transfer the contents from the zip file (if it's a .cab or .exe) to your ppc and you're good to go.

Coz

For a dictionary, google for WordNet. There is a PC and a Pocket PC version, but both are on the guy's site. There are instructions on the site. This is the most extensive PPC dictionary I have seen/used.
