Looking for the Best T9 Keyboard for the Mogul....maybe not.

Hey all,

I am always on the search for the best keyboard or my Sprint Mogul. Recently, I wanted to find one that supported T9.

Teksoft has a nice application called FingerTouch Pro HERE

It uses their version of T9 - but each time you select the T9 word you want, it backspaces manually, and retypes the word. Sooo, it actually slows down the text input process.

I find that the non-Pro version, HERE is quicker, because you can use the default WM word suggestion.

Actually, I love the double key mode the best. That's where each key has 2 letters, and you double tap for the second letter.

Now, do any keyboards out there use ACTUAL T9 without the word prediction version. That is, the word forms as you type, and you hit the '0' key to scroll between words?

Also, I have found TouchPal by CooTek HERE It's alright, but kinda slow, and cumbersome.

Anything to share? Thoughts?

Thanks,

Matt!

the gullum Diamond is what you want, it's free & gives true T-9.

I have tried & payed for a bunch of different KB's, but the Touch Diamond in portrait T-9 is what I use 99% of the time now in my Titan. I can absolutely fly with this setup.

Re: Looking for the Best T9 Keyboard for the Mogul....maybe not.

Hey all,

I tried the Gullum keyboard - and INSTANTLY fell in love. It's VERY fast. The words pop up and are replaced instantly - no weird bugs, lots of options... Finally!

Thanks a ton,

Matt!
