Re: beejive down for you guys?
I get an error message saying "An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found". I guess AIM mobile will hold me over until beejive comes back up.

Re: beejive down for you guys?
means you need to install NETCF 3.5 and SQLce for beejive IM to work.

Re: beejive down for you guys?
I had this issue also. The software was working one day and the next it wasn't. I installed the .net stuff also thinking that. Installing .net dosn't fix the problem.

Re: beejive down for you guys?
Considering I used the day before without that message popping up and I do have it installed I doubt its that.

Re: beejive down for you guys?
this error :
"An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found" is supposedly due to the error messages not being loaded due to the lack of the framework to support the display (netCF 3.5) <---- per Beejive idk why you woulnd't have the issue before and its just popping up now. last time i saw beejive website it was asking for a purchase to get the messenger from them. but that was a while ago. maybe they are asking for us to pay for it now that it is out of beta? |

Re: beejive down for you guys?
We have decided not to release a production version of BeejiveIM for Windows Mobile 6. There were many reasons for this decision, but the two biggest had to do with the current Windows Mobile market and support/time issues. With all the devices currently running Windows Mobile, it has been proving very time consuming to build a quality product that works with all the various hardware configurations. We pride ourselves on releasing quality products and feel at this moment we would be spreading ourselves too thin if we released a production Windows Mobile 6 application.
That being said, we do plan on releasing one more beta build (hopefully within the next month or so) with some of the more pressing issues fixed. We also plan on revisiting a Windows Mobile application when Windows Mobile 7 is released. The beta application will remain free to download on our site. http://beejive.com/support/forum/vie....php?f=3&t=509 I first installed it on the stock rom no problems. I then installed on JD rom and put the XDA fix and it worked fine up till today. I'm just going to use the original one for that came on the phone for now. |
