Pretty much I think. My wife and and I both have a 6700 with a BT GPS, and we want to be able to locate each other without calling.
(Or if we don't want to be found, just turn off the GPS ![]() Seems like we c are constantly tracking each other down to get or take or whatever the kids somewhere and this would come in handy sometimes. |

TomTom's Buddy service does this. If I remember correctly it is a free service.

I was looking at that, but running Mapopolis right now, but I kind of like the TomTom interface. Just can't justify spending more on mapping software!
Thanks |

There isnt really any standalone program out there that does this, it is usally worked into the app, like TomTom.
Might go over to xda developers and ask about one being built. Somebody should be able to hack into the A-GPS and at least show you how. |

Well, after a few days of searching and trying a couple of items, I found something that does exactly as I need.
The software is Perdiemco Location & Tracking (PLT3), it is free to download and register. The customer support has been phenomenal. Quick responses and checking up to make sure all was working OK. Most of the problems have been on my end too!. Thanks Dennis (Perdiemco) for all your help. |
