Well, after a few days of searching and trying a couple of items, I found something that does exactly as I need.

The software is Perdiemco Location & Tracking (PLT3), it is free to download and register. The customer support has been phenomenal. Quick responses and checking up to make sure all was working OK. Most of the problems have been on my end too!.
