Re: Woot button
You could create a shortcut to the sound file and place it in your /windows/startmenu/programs folder.
or You could write a mortscript using the playsound command and put the script file in your /windows/startmenu/programs folder. 9.22.2 Play a WAV file (PlaySound) PlaySound( WAV file ) Plays the given file. The script is paused until the sound is played. |

Re: Woot button
My solution would be to create a folder called Woots and place short MP3 sound files in it. I would then put a shortcut to Woots on my Today Screen, using tdLaunch, freeware (CAB available at 2nd link below). Finally, I'd make it finger friendly so that it can be done 1 handedly, with thumb of the hand holding phone, by using GS Finder Plus. GSF+ is also freeware, info here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...der#post323217 More info re GSF+ and tdL, here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...der#post360729 Hope this helps, and thanks for the idea! Think I'll do this one day, time permitting. PS: I have MP3s associated to TCPMP (GSF+ makes this easy) so as not to disturb current playlists in my regular music players, and to allow quick launching of a single request or perhaps soon, whoot sounds. Re: Woot button
Hey, I'd actually be willing to write such an app if someone provided me with the sounds to include!
