AIM Mobile - Old Version

This is an older version of AIM. Unlike the current version of Mobile AIM, this does not put as much strain on your phones memory so its less of a headache to use. However, unlike the current version this aim does not alert you as to when you get a message so I guess that's a drawback in a way. Also when you install it on your phone if you're wondering how to sign on just send a message and the program will tell you to sign in. I'm not exactly sure how I came across this but here it is:

This is an EXE file so you have to install it from your computer obviously, it's rar'ed so you will need zip or winrar to unpack it - aim.rar - 5.63MB

there is also another way to use Aim without installing anything on your PPC. But, there is a limitation, it will only have your buddy list from mobile buddies, IE on your buddy list, there is a label for mobile and only people specified in that field will show up. All you have to do is send a txt to 246246 with the word menu and if you have a signature on your txt msg's remove it so it does not cause a conflict.
I would also highly advise you to have unlimited txt if you plan on using it a lot because the AIM transmissions are all treats as sms.

that works also, thanks for the infor I was wondering how I could do that, now if I run outta space aim is gone, although this version of aim barely takes up any space, less than a meg i think
