Where can I find free software to shorten a real ringtone?

You can also try this... it is the Diamond MP3 Trimmer ripped from a Diamond. I had it wokring fine on my touch, before I moved up to the Diamond.

Just open the app on your PPC, choose an MP3 and then pick the start and stop points for the ringtone.

You know, nevermind my post. I am an idiot and didn't read your post thoroughly. Sorry.

Try an online ringtone maker at http://makeownringtone.com
Requires no download of software and is very easy to use.
