Re: UCWeb 6.1 beta
If you go to settings/system then click on menu softkey on the right, and go to advanced settings, the time zone options are in there. Im finding that changing it doesnt always stick though. dschoenike

Re: UCWeb 6.1 beta
I belive there's an option to hide the menu bars. I know at one point i had the "hide menu" box checked accidentally. I musta clicked it while messing around with all the different options. I'm actually liking parts of this browser more than opera mini also. Can't wait to see what the final version is like. dschoenike

Re: UCWeb 6.1 beta
First of all, I am using the exe-type version (versus java), and I have no problem using the "desktop" view. Simply go to "Menu," "Settings," "Browse Mode," and select "Zoom Mode."
Next, I REALLY like this browser. It may not have as manny bells and whistles as Opera or it's Java-based brother, but it is smokin' fast. Pages load like lighhtning, and startup seems a snap. I've always hated the slow initial startup of Opera Mobile and Skyfire. My one pet peeve is that I cannot set my own start page (unless I am missing something). I must go to a bookmark of my (iGoogle) preferred start page from the UCweb start page. |
