Palringo is a very nice application...I use it all the time. It could be that their website is experiencing problems. Check back in a day and see what's up.

Also make sure that you're there's not some sort of "terms & conditions" box that needs to be checked.

Palringo's Latest Update FINALLY allows taskbar toggle!
 

Havent seen this mentioned yet but a few days ago my palringo updated itself and when i went into the options menu, there is now a toggle to remove the palringo logo from the taskbar on the today screen!!

that was one of my biggest knocks against this app cause it was very annoying to not be able to permanently remove it, now they've finally changed this!

so download it and enjoy!

And yeah Naut...I noticed that they pushed out the new update. I'm liking not having that little "p" in my tray.

Me too, it's my favorite app of its kind. Easily. And now that the tray icon is gone, I can even leave it running :)

Thanks for mentioning the ppcgeeks group, I hadn't used groups in Palringo until now.

Any way to change the alert on this bad *** application? Thats my only problem I'm missing messages.
Registration seams to went easy for me. I downloaded it, signed up and was signed in 2 minutes later.
If someone wants to add me PM me for my handle or check the ppcgeeks group room..

I've never heard of anyone being able to modify/change the alert sound. But that of course doesn't mean it can't be done.
