You may also want to look at SK Tools. I ultimately prefer it over MemMaid.

They all have their pluses I usually use Memmaid but the AKU I am running has clear temp in it and I haven't needed MemMaid yet so I haven't even loaded it. I am sure I will need it sooner or later so count me as a vote for MemMaid

The biggest difference I see is the availability to delete notifications in MemMaid (I think you can do it using SK, but I never figured out how).
Anyways Touche', notifications can slow down your machine. If you have ever experienced a reminder not going off when it is suppose to, this may be due to duplicate notifications on your device. MemMaid give you the option to delete the duplicate and dangling notifications on your device. Also, it seems to me that every time you soft reset, a notification is created. I also clear these notifications and my device runs smoother. Hope this helps!
