The goal was to not lose any ease of use while providing advanced users with more control, and I think we came up with a very nice, balanced solution. The blog post has all the details.

This release don't change the file association behavior, but I hope it's clear that we're listening. We appreciate your patronage and your feedback.

Kind of funny, following this thread. After complaining about Kinoma support refusing to address scanning issues...Kinoma support personally replied to this thread and didn't get acknowledged or thanks for the update and interest in users input.

I don't use Kinoma, but thanks for listening to user input.

I love s2p, is there any free app like it for video other than kinoma? I tried kinoma freeplay, and in order to play h264 video I would have to pay for the full kinoma play.
