This is why you need a program like SPB Backup.

I always make a new/current backup of my system to my storage card right before installing ANY new app.

That way, when the phone freezes solid (I have had it happen NUMEROUS times), I simply hard reset & restore the BU. I had to do this exact thing this morning, I was back up running fine within about 10 minutes.........

hmmm....seems to me that .80 is buggy / not working for a lot of people. I think i'll just stick with .68 for now. I also would hate to lose the ability to resize my zoom window, that was just one of the things I liked more about Skyfire than Opera.

I've changed it, reset it, slapped it, massaged it, and even gave it a courtesy reach around... nuttin'. I'll just put it away for a while & see if they fix it.

Re: Skyfire Version 0.80 Beta

I don't get it. It says public beta now. Says it will send a link to install by sms link or by download to PC and then the email comes telling me that I will get an SMS, which I cannot use since i only use wifi and not a data plan. There is no instruction or link for PC download. I download and install the cab from this thread and now I have to enter a username and password. I submitted my email, but there has been no password stage thus far. Where do i get a username and password.

So far for the mogul the speed and functionality of Opera Mini is by far the best, but if something similar had decent flash support that would be killer. Opera Mobile sucks on the mogul's anemic ram, does skyfire suffer from the same problem on the mogul as Opera Mobile?
