using sms-chat?

is there any way i can make it my default messaging client? like when i use the six button htc manager and i click the txt message button id like it to be my default is there any way to do this...all help would be appreciated

I have wondered this myself, is there a way to have it open SMS-chat when you click the tab in HTC Home???
