Re: viigo rrs beta
what version? any specific updates listed?
I've been using viigo for a while and really like it but I can't use it as my stand alone rss reader because I can't save content for viewing off line and it won't remember which articles i delete or mark as read after i exit the app or soft reset the device. 2 very important things to me.

You can save specific articles, but you can't have it automatically download every article with pictures to read while off line. And have you tried going into the task manager and killing the process or soft reseting your phone? Every time I've done that and go back in to Viigo it shows every article as new and unread when I've marked many read and deleted old ones as well. Last edited by dannzeman; 01-03-2009 at 01:44 AM. |

Re: viigo rrs beta
I think Viigo has a couple extra features on the Blackberry that we don't get on Windows Mobile. I've never used them side by side but I think I read somewhere where they compared the two and found a few differences. Its still a great app though. For standalone RSS I prefer Egress, it has a few more options that suite my use better.

And update to Viigo has been released. I went from version 3.0.28 to 3.0.33

Re: viigo rrs beta
Has anyone else noticed Viigo not updating feeds very frequently throughout the day over the past month? I have a desktop RSS reader pulling some of the same feeds and they update sometimes hours before I see the same content in Viigo. Also, even though I have Viigo set to pull updates every 30 minutes, often I find if I do an individual Update Channel that I'll pull down new content where both the 30 minute schedule and Update All don't pull anything new down.
Earlier this month Viigo send out a couple noticed that they were having server problems, but I haven't read of any issues the past couple of weeks. |
