Re: New Swype Technology For Typing Text Launched For Smartphones

I noticed the Omnia II that came out yesterday comes standard with this swype technology. I would be curious how well its working out for them.

I played with it yesterday at a VZW store and it is awesome. Love to get my hands on it for my O1.

Cool. Looking at the video it looks like it works the same way. Testing it now. I wonder if Swype will be free though.

EDIT: Doesnt seem to work. I get an error it's not signed or something when I reboot after install. OH well, Ill just waith til Swype becomes available. Thanks though.

I installed the demo of this on my Imagio last night and it works just fine on my phone. You'll get a click on the "thanks" button from me for pointing this out.

Thanks guys

SlideIT is for sure amazing!
It has instantly increased my typing speed by 30-40%

and it's already available for Windows Mobile and Symbian
FREE on a DEMO version
http://mobiletextinput.com/Download.php

and Android, iPhon and Tablet PC will be available soon for download

I haven't tried it with my new 6.5.1 ROM, but on 6.1 the keyboard popped up all by itself every time I rotated the screen - and then wouldn't go away. Other than that, I liked it better than Shapewriter.
