Re: New Swype Technology For Typing Text Launched For Smartphones

It's out as of today on the new Samsung phone. It won't be too long before we have it available for the rest of us.

After trying both of the similar applications, I'm REALLY looking forward to giving Swype a whirl.

Seems like you have to get the hang of it to really use it effectively, but cool tool. Like Touch Pal Pro.

I just tried Shapewriter and it's actually pretty good.

It's not too bad, but the symbols page is just too small.

Still looking forward to seeing this available. Anybody heard anything new?

Try Shape Writer and SlideIT

Re: Swype keyboard

I've tried both. Slideit is okay, but the symbols page is VERY small. Shapewriter is a little better, but every time the screen rotates, the keyboard pops up automatically and won't go away. I never found a setting to change this action.

I really like the look of this. I am a big texter and this looks very promising for me.
