Re: Task Facade 4.0 (3-6-09)
The addition of themes was such a great idea. I'm running MacOS with a custom wallpaper. Looks great.
For anyone having trouble loading a theme (like it gives an error when you select it) try transferring the themes.xml file to your pc (located in the theme's folder) and edit it with notepad. More than likely the error is caused by a lack of the <cover> lines in the xml file. Refer to my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...0&postcount=24 The themes.xml file is something included in each theme's folder. When those lines are missing from the xml file, task facade can't load it for some reason. You'll need to edit it from your pc or from a text editor that can open xml files within your phone. The solution was given over there, but I didn't quite understand it at first lol. I wrote it out more clearly so people don't run into the same brain fart I did.

Re: This is the coolest task manager ive seen
already been posted: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54339
I've used this program since it's earliest builds. I consider it one of the most useful things I've ever found. Prior to the latest version, it was a little clunky so I set the number of animation frames to 0 for better performance. Now it runs noticeably faster, even with different skins, and I set the number of animation frames to 3 (from default of 5.) Looks very snappy at 3 on my touch pro. now when i hold down my enter button (center of the dpad on the touch pro) it launches taskfacade. If there's more than one window open, you'll see you can select one. If only the desktop is present, it will look like it opened then closed right away. btw, within taskfacade, things you might want to add to the exclusion list (windows you don't want to show up within taskfacade) are cprog.exe, repllog.exe, and shell32.exe |
