Question Wi-fi software?

I have a PPC-6700 and I was wondering if there was some software where I could use the wi-fi on the phone through my laptop because on my laptop says it is a network device but when I tell my laptop to use it as the internet connection is says "can not display web page" like there is no connection. Or is there something I'm doing wrong because my laptop is old but it's an expensive one and it doesn't have wi-fi but I'm not getting rid of my laptop.
If there is something I'm doing wrong please let me know and give me the steps or please give me the link for the software Please and thank you.

Re: Wi-fi software?

Google WMWifiRouter. There is a old free version floating around.
Also there are a few threads about it here.

Or you could search here for "problems with internet sharing" and fix you ICS issue.
