Question Using PPC BT to connect to other phone?

I want to pair one of my PocketPCs to another phone and use the PPC to talk when I get a call in the other phone.

Do I make sense?

Let's say I have some Motorola V3 and an PPC6900. I want to pair them and when I get a call in the Motorola, I want to pick it up from the PPC6900 and speak using the PPC6900.

If I can also get the CallerID, it will be awesome.

Is there any app that will do this?

Thanks

Dont think so. You might be the first person to even want something like that.
Can I ask why you would have two phones and want to use one as a bluetooth head set?
You still have to answer one.
*Edit- work phone personal phone maybe?

BINGO!

I have a work phone and a personal phone (I use the HTCs with my personal line). I want to leave one of the phones on the desk and only carry the other one.

I think it should be possible.

Why not just set up call forwarding from one phone to the other? BT has a pretty limited range.

They will charge me for the airtime if I do that because we use CPP here.

There is java app called ''ftp_bt''!
I connected to many phones via bluetooth!
But only one thing!
I used this app in my Nokia N80 and Nokia 3250!
Not work with my Mogul

Re: Using PPC BT to connect to other phone?

You would need to create a profile that makes the PPC a handsfree device for other devices, and perhaps an input device for other devices... I'm fairly certain these profiles exist to support VOIP (using a PC as the internet connection...)

Not sure if this helps but it should give you some ideas...

Thanks.

Any tips on how to create a profile?

I can program in .NET CF.
