Re: Kinoma media player

Yes! I asked Kinoma on twitter about a home button. Just hold the center of your D-pad! I can't believe I never found this before, I've tried holding everything on the screen, just never the center button.. YAY!

@notrox Sure, just hold the Center key of your 5-way. Soon, you'll be able to hold the Back softkey as well.

Re: Kinoma media player

so I just tried out the NEW version of Kinoma Play... Must say they finally fixxed a couple of my major hangups witht eh program. I can finally tell it what folders to scan. I got tired f it scanning the 2 gig folder for my Tom Tom software adn adding all the POI icons and what not to the Kinoma DB. Also I can set it to no longer Hijack my file associations. THNK YOU!!

if you havent found these options go to get apps, and select the advanced config.

I like the way it views pictures and stuff, but I'm not gonna shell out the money.

I'm not one to try and get software for free since I write software for a living. However that TrialPlay deal, while goofy, it's them giving you a way to get it for free. They are saying out loud to trial something and you can cancel within 7 days. I don't see any wording that says you then have to give Kinoma back.

It may be "grey" but it doesn't seem illegal or immoral. Kinoma is turning people on to things they "may" want.

Re: Kinoma media player

yep. no way I was going to shell out 30 bucks for the paid version when the free version was working just fine, but I checked out the offers, and settled on the Go-Daddy one. Registered my own Domain name for 10 bucks and now have another throw away Email I can use when I think something might shoot me a lot of spam.
