Need a program to convert avi to wmv

Hey
Im looking for a program that would convert mpeg/avi/dvd etc to a format that the ppc can use. I tried putting an avi file on my card and it couldnt read it. Can some one recommend me a good program that will convert the files and not lose qualilty of the movies?

I know pocket dvd wizard but dont know if its any good. besides the demo only let me see the first 5 mins of the movies which was the credits. any help would be appreciated.

I am currently writing a "How To" on Converting DVDs to files that can be played back on PPC, I should be able to finish that by the weekend. I will get back to you when I have it posted.

I am not sure if that is what kind of thing you are running into, but that is the reason that I was asking those same type of questions.

Wideawake is correct in recommending TCPMP, it's a great application.

Thanks alot fellas, ill try tcmp for now but i would also like a converter to shrink the avi with good quality cause most of them take up 700-800mb.

Looking forward to the How to.
