help with back_up utility

I recently upgraded my 6800 to wm 6.1 and I wanted to keep all my programs and settings.I quickly discovered that the set up was to unstable for the new os,so I had to try a few setups.I use resco backup and the trail period expired before update my pim data. What im asking is there a way to get to the backed up pim data,on my sim within the resco file in some sub folder I can look at the saved data/backup data but only in zip format. Is there a way I could find the exact file and some how update my pim data with out using the resco.....And if anybody knows what is the exact file that holds the the pim ........thanks for the help guys in advance......

Thumbs up Re: help with back_up utility

You would need the pim.vol file. This file is found in the root folder when you open up your device. Just copy it to your desktop, do whatever you need to do you your phone, and then copy it back. After you copy it, soft reset and you should be good to go.
