I've been reading about different results.

can everyone PLEASE post if you're getting choppy videos or not? Also which version you downloaded? Mine for example was 0.61.0.4721 (I think)

Short Codes. Some are free, like AOL IM Forwarding, some are not... Like the ads you see on TV. Joke of the day, Singles Line, etc. These are common to be abused and cause fraudulent charges. When it happens most users call and have the service blocked (or specific 'short code') blocked. Also an issue on lines used by minors... go figure!!! This SMS download comes from a short code, hence if you have short codes blocked, then u wont get it. If you have them unblocked, then in theory, the only way to sign up for Premium SMS (the ones that charge) is to have actually subscribed to them...

Sweet I will pass this information on... I know that AOL forwarding is free and stuff like Google and Skyfire.. So I will pass the info on so that .. I dont know just I will see what happens..

HELP! I cant get it i used the cnet100 in capital and lowercase alot!! The signup goes through and i get the your account has been found page then i press next and it says i will be recieving 2 communication from them. i get 2 emails and no texts ihave a 100 txt plan with sprint. The emails are my confirmation and thank you no download

hmm... I registered a couple of days ago, and got confirmation email and text. But no download... I was bummed. Then, I saw that if you registered again, it might give it to you. I did that, and it worked!

In case anyone is wondering, videos on Youtube and other sites (even adult!) all seem to be working, not the smoothest, but you know what... pretty darn good.

I am still getting used to the zoom feature and what-have-you. But since I updated my ROM, I had lost the TCPMP capability (RTSP?! wtf?!) so I was put out, and wanted an alternative. VTAP worked, and now, SKYFIRE is like you are sitting at a desktop (with a tiny screen...lol)

In order to use the scroll bar in websites or slider type buttons you need to turn on the "Drag Controls" option (Menu/Actions/Drag Control). The pointer lets you click on scroll bars on websites without moving the whole page, while the little hand icon let's you hold and drag the whole page as in standard mode.

When using the pointer it helps if you zoom in as close as possible to the slider you're trying to move to make it easier for you.

the drag controls do not work for changng youtube volume. ive tried it. also youtube quality is very good quality through sprint connection. very clear. i can't see why people call the videos choppy. bt i must say: when i had the server practically "all to myself" (before i started this thread), the loading speeds and videoo qualidy were noticeably better

I didnt get any emails at all , the only thing i recieved was the text with the registration link. (i DID get the download to work)

also the videos play (IMO) pretty decent, ive had a little choppiness but not unbearable.

Personally I think the whole "connection to server in order to work" setup is pretty primitive on skyfire's part. I don't understand how one beta had already been released to the public to thousands of people, and they still come out with a very similar "beta 2". I've also been on their forums, a lot of people there appear to be thickheaded (even the skyfire team).
