Email Options

I have been trying to figure out what my email options are, and what I have found I'm not happy with

I have my own domain name and custom email address and use a gmail account.

via the web/gmail I can send email using my custom email address as the return, but I don't get notified of emails

via the touch email I can send email using my custome email address, but for some reason it doesn't update and notify new emails correctly, I have set it for a min of checking every 5 minutes up to every 30 minutes and more then none I have to manually check for email

via seven it checks correctly with any time I set, but it won't use my custom address, it only uses my gmail.com address, which I would rather not use..

any suggestions, ideas, etc..

thanks in advance

you just put the email address you want them to reply to in the "my email address" box? cause when i do that it doesnt seem to work.

Re: Email Options

who do you have for a provider?

I was using imap with my gmail account. I have a custom domain and email also. I changed my reply to from my gmail account to personal email and used gmails smtp server.

Worked fine

Since than though, Verizon has an smtp server that seems to work better. phonenumber@vzmail.net

seems to work fine for me

Re: Email Options

I have it working with no issue using a gmail custom domain. I use imap and have it set to check every 15 min.
