Re: Opera Mobile Offical Beta 9.5.1 Build 1706

I would like to keep the official builds all in one thread... once the the one on Thursday comes out (probably in the morning) can someone please PM me so I can edit the first post to reflect the changes, etc.

edit:

I updated the OP and added some mirrors, (please try to use those, so we don't bombard the server here) and also some links to the .cab that installs to your SD.

Re: Opera Mobile Offical Beta 9.5.1 Build 1706

It doesn't run too bad on the touch but the problem that I run into (along with previous builds) is when I visit ppcgeeks wap site. Can anyone tell me why it doesn't reload the page when backing up? I have to manually refresh the page and it's annoying as hell.

Re: Opera Mobile Offical Beta 9.5.1 Build 1706

Can we just have one thread and one thread only about Opera Mobile? It's will be easier to track Build to Build? As of right now we got too many thread and everyone of it is the "latest"

Since this is an offical build directly from Opera, I figured we can just keep all offical builds in this thread, and keep the non-offical (the leaked ones from the Diamond, which is what's out before) in the other threads.

Uh, that's nonsense. It fully supports JavaScript (which includes Ajax). Flash and Java have got nothing to do with JavaScript.

Opera uses plugins for Flash, so no.

Dragonfly is a good idea, but too much too soon... work on the core functions before showcasing Dragonfly or Widgets
Dev tools ARE a core function in a browser. Opera has lacked them for too long. Now they are in the core (cross-platform).

Pull 1706 and mark 1522 as your Beta 1... you'll have a much warmer reception!
I doubt it. Most people say 1706 works better.

Re: Opera Mobile Offical Beta 9.5.1 Build 1718 (Updated)

Updated OP to add newest build that's from Opera's FTP site.

I'm running into alot less memory errors, on the last build when I loaded up engadget I got an out of memory error, on this one I haven't yet, perhaps that's one of the last minute bugs they were working on.
