I don't really think this browser has gotten that much faster... seems just as slow as ever unless I'm missing something?
At least I don't get out of memory errors on Engadget anymore...

I found that if you turn turbo mode on in opera:config, it screws up flash. Anyone else experience this? I found a cool splash screen here. Works and looks better then the original one.

I think Skyfire is ok, but for me it is limited. My biggest issue with it is the lack of download ability. Second, I find it slower to load sites up and the scrolling on pages is terrible with constant rendering. It also has no tab browsing.
On the other side of the coin, many sites render better on it especially when they use flash even compared to this build which i have tested. For example, sites like nba.com display correct on Skyfire, but with this version of Opera I still get the box saying you are using a older version of flash. |
