Yes and no. Yes, different from those of us with Touch. No, same as for others with Mogul. (I'm pretty sure Opera designed this for Diamond, which has even more resources available than Touch, way more than Mogul.)

Re: Diamond Opera v9.5 Build 1476 (latest build)

Ummm... This program runs fine on BOTH the Mogul and the Touch... its not your extra RAM or anything playing into the speed, its what you have running in the background... this program works best when it is the only app running, no matter the device. It also stops loading images at some point on both devices and occasionally has a memory leak where long after you've closed the program, the memory it was using is still not released to the OS.

Re: Diamond Opera v9.5 Build 1476 (latest build)

i believe i read it will be a free beta... but obviously the official release will cost something... i'd pay for it if its bug free and squashes skyfire...

Re: Diamond Opera v9.5 Build 1476 (latest build)

I've been using Skyfire a lot more lately and it honestly seems to be the best browser option right now... they've fixed a few bugs since the first version was released and it seems overall to be much zippier than it was. Video watching on it is actually a viable option now too.

Opera Mobile has a lot going for it but it has a lot to work on too. And lets not forget that Firefox Mobile will be coming along at some point.

It's a leaked build, and not a offical beta, when the offical beta comes out on Tuesday it will be free.... Opera has not stated if they are going to charge for the final version of 9.5 yet.

I'm on a Mogul and while I usually only one run program at a time, I have to make SURE that I've turned everything else off before I start Opera Mobile. Even when it is the only program running, CNN.com takes about 20 to 30 seconds to completely load. In Opera Mini, it takes about 5 seconds. Sure, it looks better in Opera Mobile, but again, what are the costs?
