Finally available directly...

I got it today from Yahoo directly without having to do any trick... It automatically gave me the HTC Apache version... I had the same sync issues... I ended up deleting ALL of my Yahoo address book and syncing so that the address books would be the same... I will likely never sync again...

I don't really use my yahoo account anymore (for mail) so I don't mind the way mail works...

Did anyone try Maps with GPS? I notice it locks up if the connection breaks with the internet... (At least for me)

Still, very nice one finger interface... I can do almost everything from the soft button and joystick...

Item #1
Pibe, sorry for the double post.. I was so excited I didn't think to search if anyone else found this before me.. I was just trying to alert the WORLD that it was available... My bad....

Item #2
I installed the cab from the yahoo site, however, I also set up an account like normal through the messages screens like you would for outlook and it worked fine.. I am a yahoo user, and have been waiting on this for a while, so I wanted to see if this allowed me to get my emails pushed directly to my today screen and it worked... It's now just another account next to outlook and textmessages.. I prolly won't use the other features as I use weather panel for weather and google maps for my maps app.

yup.. that worked for me.. I just set it up like an outlook account, and let it find the settings automatically.. worked first try, no problems.

Send a message via AIM to jamesus Send a message via Yahoo to jamesus
You should be able to enter one using the default PIM and then it will sync.
