yep. i even double checked to see if my patches were installed by trying to install them again. it only had an option to repair or remove, so i'm guessing i did it right the first time. still no go. all the patches were just from the m$ site, right?

ok, get this... setting local time puts it one hour ahead. setting updated time puts it one hour behind. i like setting it to local time because it shows the time for the corresponding city (kind of like world clock).

is there a way to check on the device itself if updates were installed properly? thanks.
