GPS Software

It's strange that this topic doesn't have it's own thread (at least a quick search for "gps software" was unable to find one). Most of what I have read here is about freeing the GPS beast within the Touch. Now that I have GPS available for use, what are my software options outside of Google Maps or is that pretty much the way to go? Is this how most people are using the function? Am I missing out on something?

Re: GPS Software

google maps is a great free option along with windows live search but if you're looking to spend some loots...garmin mobile xt is the way to go for 100.00 and you get free updates etc...

Re: GPS Software

I was looking at Garmin. I might be more inclined if they offered a trial version. I'm not really into forking over a Benjamin for something that I am not sure I will see value in or can return (or delete) if I am not happy with it.

Just curious if I was missing out on something...

Re: GPS Software

how would you like to get paid to use your gps?
I've been using navizon and am very happy with it. it finds addresses that the others couldn't.
